Sports marketing positions a company's products and brand name before the consumer. The advantages are enormous: little or no risk, low cost and a high probability of success. In return for the sponsor's investment, the brand name gets displayed on the car and driver's suit, as well as on the team's accessories and materials. This type of advertising and publicity leaves a lasting impression upon the memory of the track public, as well as upon fans watching the race on television or viewing magazine and newspaper coverage.

Sponsoring Project Motorsports means investing in a team and driver combination who have already achieved excellent results in U.S. competition and who has a high possibility of representing the U.S. in the highest categories of world-class auto racing. In  April of 2002, Derek, one of the Project Motorsports drivers experienced his first laps in a Formula Dodge racecar and earned 16 championship points in his first career event.  With this early success Derek moved on to a very successful rookie season, a successful entry into his first professional events and finally, a contract and very positive season with Welch Racing in the Formula Renault Pro Series.  Now he will be joined by co-drivers Tom and Mallory Smurzynski.  Tom spent several years as the head test driver for the Ariel Atom Project in the U.S. and his daughter Mallory is coming off of several very successful seasons in Western Region Karting.  The team, car, and driver combo have already proven that they have what it takes to compete in Grand American racing and are now asking you to join their side.
